The Car Stays Parked

Thank God I don't have to drive much these days. Just pushed my car into a gas station and fueled up next to some cat with "JOHN KERRY LIED" and lots of bumper stickers with ribbons plastered to the back of his truck. Paying three bucks a gallon for gas should teach him a lesson about where he places his allegiances.

But it won't.

Had one of those days where, despite not getting much work done, I had two very productive phone calls. Good things stirring careerwise. Might be enough to save the family farm if I can get off my ass and get shit done.

Living in the suburbs, I can deal with having to drive twelve minutes to get to the nearest cool coffee shop (The Black Dog on 87th). You know...one open until ten or eleven, with free wireless, a bottomless cup of coffee for two bucks and a lot of teenagers hanging around dressed like slumming rock stars.

But is it too much to ask for someone to build a fucking bookstore that close?

Yes. Yes, it is.

yeah, man, I have exactly what you're looking for a block away from me:

I frequent it often. The only down side is not only do the local girls come around but the house wives too with their eighteen wheeler strollers that take up a ridiculous amount of space.

By the way, commented on your message board that I read the HAWAIIAN DICK trade and loved it, man. Nice work, definitely looking forward to everything else you're doing man.

Yes. That is exactly what I'm looking for.

I do have a new Wal-Mart going in within walking distance.

Sigh.

Is there someone in your country (or mine) who doesn't have a Walmart going in within walking distance?
